Untitled, original poem #70

static
 background
hollow or shallow souls
something basic is absent
not necessarily
 missing
more like never been

darkwood poison daydreams
 singing
  simply
stinging in my ear
as you busily oblivious
 bourgeois
  are polishing your plastic hair

know you and i
 can never meet
no
the tracks you've laid
 don't go there

Original poem #69

Birthday

i ran into a kind of
 strange creature
  on my way down here

nestled in that nexus
the nimbus
 of the endless never

coiled in truth
it spoke

troubled soul
you won't be far from home
and you don't need
 salvation

Original poem #67

Waypoint

warped in your starlight
softened and scattered
i'm cloud-filtered moonlight
feasting on ravens
 and shadows of earth night

a pale flight

refusing my soul
 for these bones
  and their birthright

Untitled, original poem #66

las vegas
 is slick women in boots
high to the thigh
stuffed with feet of foam rubber
she's a glitzy lit hooker
 that cums with no lover

mottled mosaic america
lighted zirconium
she's staged in the countrooms
& small spectral glasses of booze
bought breasts

las vegas is best
 in the dark

Original poem #65

Mistress Earth

such dry bones
so much flesh subdued
lifetimes of wisdom wasted
so many nights removed

i have heard my voice
 cast in pain
  her earth name
bleeding in echo-dark caverns
tearing in shock
out of chorus
under low and starless skies

i have trodden her desperate wastes
passed the fires and the pits
 and down to where
  the deep things die

rot feeds future fields

i've carried mountains
 on my breaking back
chained by my stars
drowning in bars

she summons me
 by each
  of my names

Untitled, original poem #64

how worlds do shift
dunes of time
 & sacred space
turning
tumultuous on cosmic tides
everything is all brand new
& the majic words of prophets
 are just that
  nothing more than words

we make the movements
the moments
we are sleeping
 at the palace door
  among powers
   & powdered pillars
where everything is new
 & blessed
