Untitled, original poem #34

summer starts
 its graceful fade
floating surely into fall
 like old souls
  returning from war

stunned leaves fall first
 where whole branchmates
  mostly green remain
now
 twilight again

death sensed softly
 as cool cooing
  dragons breath

misting the lake
  with amibivalence
